H.O.P.E. Missions – Helping Other People Everywhere
H.O.P.E. Missions is the hands-on outreach ministry of the youth at Woodcrest Methodist Church, dedicated to serving with compassion, building community, and spreading the love of Jesus Christ. Each year, our students and adult volunteers come together to bring hope and healing to people in need across Southeast Texas, including the communities of Lumberton, Silsbee, Kountze, Beaumont, and beyond.
Through practical service projects like building wheelchair ramps, making small home repairs, and feeding the homeless, our youth are empowered to make a lasting impact. They also bring joy and companionship to local nursing home residents, and lend their hands to organizations like Sleep in Heavenly Peace, building and delivering beds to children who would otherwise sleep on the floor.
More than just a service week, H.O.P.E. Missions is a transformative experience. Each project is paired with opportunities for worship, spiritual growth, and joyful fellowship. With engaging devotionals, high-energy worship nights, and meaningful small group time, our youth and leaders are challenged and inspired to grow as authentic disciples of Jesus Christ.
At its core, H.O.P.E. Missions is about more than helping others—it’s about embodying Christ’s love and creating a movement of young people passionate about faith in action.
