What kind of training does the staff receive?
Our staff is CPR and First Aid certified and receives annual preparatory as well as supplemental training throughout the year to ensure that your child is safe and receives the best Christian and school preparatory education available.
How can I enroll my child in Woodcrest Methodist Church programs?
Our enrollment process is simple. You can either click here and fill out our online application, or visit our campus during business and registration hours and fill out our enrollment application and supplementals.
What is the schedule for the MDO and Pre-K classes?
Classes run Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 2 PM, with an early drop off available. The school term begins in September through May and follows the Lumberton ISD calendar for holidays/weather days.
How much does the program cost?
There is a non-refundable $175 registration fee due at the time of registration, and tuition is is $250/month for 3 Day MDO Program, $330/month for 4 Day MDO Program, and $350/month for the Pre-k Program. Early drop (8:00-9:00am) is $60/month or $15/day.
What kind of facilities does the program have?
Our program has a state of the art facility that is completely dedicated to the MDO/Pre-K program. To ensure the safety of your children, we do not share this space with any other program. Built in 2022, this facility includes both a covered and uncovered outdoor play area with artificial turf and classroom that include sinks in each room. Does your staff practice spiritual behaviors?
Absolutely! We require our staff to have a practicing Christian faith and encourage each member of staff to attend our daily morning devotional in order that they might be spiritually equipped to mentoring the children in our program.
Does your program have chapel time?
Yes. We believe that educating children in spiritual practices is essential in the positive growth of a Christian child. Aside for certain circumstances, our program holds chapel service in the sanctuary for all children every Wednesday morning.
How old does my child need to be?
Children in 18-23 month old class need to have turned 1 by March 1st of the current year. To enroll in 2’s, 3’s, or Pre-K, children would need to turn that specific age by September 1st of the current year.
When does the program run?
MDO 3 day program is Tues-Thurs, 9:00-2:00
MDO/Pre-K 4 day program is Mon-Thurs, 9:00-2:00
Early drop is available, each day, for an additional fee
What kind of curriculum does the program use?
The program uses Carpenter’s Kids and Frog Street curriculums.
Are my children safe at your facility?
Absolutely! We take safety very seriously at Woodcrest. That is why we build a state-of-the art facility that is solely dedicated to this program. Our facility includes RFID scan access to the building that monitors all traffic at all entries. There is 24 hour surveillance with a video system that can be accessed by the director anywhere, and each staff member has an extensive background check prior to hiring and is trained with life saving procedures including first aid and CPR.
